So, What’s Next?

Hello once again. Thought I’d scribble a few notes (last of the year) and allow you to mull over during the festive period.

‘An Act Of God’ has been dispatched to a number of reputable agents who are looking at it with some interested in taking the next step. So, all appendages are crossed.

But, hey! I can’t just sit around and wait for the phone to ring. New stories need to be told and they won’t write themselves. It means TV off, bum in seat, coffee on tap, and thankfully, ‘Strictly’ over for another year: my Saturday evenings are free once again.

At the moment I’m writing a novel about life in inner city Dublin (I may have mentioned this in a previous post) and it’s going well. Only time will tell if the characters are compelling but I think they are and, as I’m only on the first draft, I’m the only critic that matters. The working title is ‘Three-piece-suits and Tracksuits’, although I’m not entirely sure whether there should be dashes or spaces? Once done, I’ll return to the Daniel Miller Trilogy, wrapping up the series with ‘Where Angels Fear To Thread’ which will be set in the summer of ’63 before the Kennedy Assassination.

2017 zipped along, we should expect nothing less from 2018.

Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to all.
